TED BROOKS – MUSICAL DIRECTOR
Ted joined BMVC as their Musical Director in 2009 and is also currently the Bandmaster and Songster (Choir) Leader at the Salvation Army in Shiremoor. Ted has a wealth of experience as both performer and conductor having begun conducting his first choir at the age of fifteen after which a lifetimes enjoyment for singing ensued.  
Ted, now retired, has a wide range of musical tastes and interests and wishes that all members of BMVC enjoy their singing of good music.

ANDREW MAIR – DEPUTY MUSICAL DIRECTOR & ACCOMPANIST
Andrew joined BMVC initially as their Accompanist in October 2010 but was additionally appointed Deputy Musical Director in January 2011. Having begun playing the piano age 6 Andrew has been involved with a variety of musical organisation over the years. He attended The King’s School Tynemouth where he was Head of School and a Music Scholar and in addition to his involvement with the BMVC undertakes a number of freelance engagements as both soloist and accompanist throughout the region and beyond. Whilst not playing the piano Andrew enjoys conducting, composing and playing golf.
